Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no page limit. Open a PDF, make your edits and download the result.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your PDF is opened and edited entirely inside your own browser and is never sent to our servers. You can confirm this by watching your browser's network tab while you work.
Will edited text match the original font?
In most cases, yes. EasyPDFPlay reads the fonts embedded in your PDF and reuses them. When a character isn't available in the original font, it falls back to the closest matching font so the edit still blends in.
Which PDFs will not work?
Scanned PDFs are essentially pictures of pages, so they contain no real text to edit. Password-protected PDFs can't be opened. You can still annotate, sign, highlight and draw on most other files.
Is an electronic signature added here legally binding?
EasyPDFPlay places an image of your signature on the page. That is not a certified digital signature, and whether it is accepted depends on your country and the type of document. Some documents need witnesses, a notary or a qualified e-signature, so check the requirements before relying on it.
Does Whiteout permanently remove content?
No. Whiteout and Box cover content visually, but the underlying text may still exist in the file. Don't rely on them to redact sensitive information that you plan to share.
Which browsers and devices are supported?
Any modern browser, including current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, on desktop, tablet or phone. There is nothing to install.
Who can see my signature?
Only you. The signature you draw, type or upload stays in your browser and is embedded into the PDF you download.
How do I edit text in a PDF online for free?
Open your PDF in EasyPDFPlay, choose Edit text, click the line you want to change and type. When you are happy with it, select Download PDF. It is free, needs no account and adds no watermark.
Can I fill in and sign a PDF form without printing it?
