How to insert an image into a PDF

Add a logo, stamp, photo or scanned signature to any page, then move and resize it until it fits. Free, with no upload.

This opens the editor’s upload box on our home page. Your PDF is opened in your browser and is not uploaded.

The short answer

Open the PDF in EasyPDFPlay, select Image, choose a picture, click where it should go, drag to position and resize, then select Download PDF.

Step by step

  1. Open your PDF in the upload box on the home page.
  2. Select Image in the toolbar and choose a picture from your device.
  3. Click the page. Click where the image should go. Drag it to move it, drag the blue dot to resize it, or click the red × to remove it.
  4. Download the PDF and check the placement before you send it.

Good uses

  • Company logos and stamps
  • A scanned signature image (or use Add signature)
  • Photos on forms and applications

Limits

  • The image is placed on the page; it does not replace existing images inside the PDF.
  • Very large images are scaled down to keep the file practical.
  • Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
