How to delete pages from a PDF

Remove the pages you do not need before you send a document. Everything happens in your browser, so the file is not uploaded.

This opens the editor’s upload box on our home page. Your PDF is opened in your browser and is not uploaded.

The short answer

Open the PDF in EasyPDFPlay, hover over a page, select the bin icon in its top corner, then select Download PDF. The deleted pages are left out of your new copy.

Step by step

  1. Open your PDF in the upload box on the home page.
  2. Find the page. Scroll, or click a thumbnail in the page strip to jump to it.
  3. Delete it. Hover over the page (on a touch screen the controls are always shown) and select the bin icon. Use Undo to bring a page back.
  4. Download. Select Download PDF. The new copy contains only the pages you kept.

Good to know

  • A PDF must keep at least one page.
  • Your original file is not changed. You download a new copy.
  • You can still edit, sign and annotate the pages you keep.

What it does not do

  • It does not reorder, rotate, merge or split pages.
  • It does not compress the file.
  • Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
